Curio Street

Amanda Woods is a recent college graduate, earning a Bachelors degree in Communications with dual concentrations in Public Relations and Broadcasting from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated with honors. Right now she spends her days job hunting, and her nights writing for this blog.

 

Amanda first started Curio Street as a way to keep herself writing during and after College. She has always loved to write, and as a child would publish newspapers about whatever her family was doing. She had a wild imagination, and she and her siblings would make up stories or listen to their parents and grandparents tell them. Each summer she read every book she could get her hands on at the library, and in middle school she took a class and began writing a novel, which currently sits in a huge binder in her room, waiting for a vacation so she can work on it.

 

As Amanda approached her final year of college, she wanted to get back to that place where writing was fun and not a chore. She has been fiddling around with blogs for almost 10 years now, and she thinks she has finally found a platform and structure that work for her with WIX.

 

Curio Street is completly run by Amanda, for the dual purpose of sharing a part of her life with her readers, and to get more experience writing.
